About Moon Shine
Local, Reliable & Proud of It
Family-run window cleaning along the A52 since September 2017. Nine years serving the same communities — Boston to Skegness, Lincolnshire.
Our Story
Started in 2017, Still Going Strong
Moon Shine Window Cleaning was founded in September 2017 by Ben, a Lincolnshire local who wanted to build something of his own — a reliable, no-nonsense window cleaning service for the communities along the A52.
Nine years on, the business is still run the same way it started: turn up when you say you will, do a thorough job, and treat every customer's home or business with respect. No call centres, no subcontractors — just Ben, his water-fed pole, and purified water.
From terraced houses in Boston to commercial premises in Skegness, the same care goes into every clean. That's why so many customers have been with us since the very beginning.
The Man Behind the Pole
Ben
Founder & Window Cleaner
Ben started Moon Shine in 2017 with a simple idea: be the window cleaner he'd want to hire himself. Reliable, thorough, and easy to deal with. He covers the full A52 route from Boston to Skegness, and is always at the end of a text message.
"Text is always fastest — I can't always answer calls when I'm up a pole, but I'll always get back to you."
How We Work
What You Can Expect
We text the day before
You'll always get a heads-up the day before your clean — no surprises, no waiting around all day.
Streak-free results
Purified water through a water-fed pole means no mineral deposits and no streaks — windows dry perfectly clean.
No ladders at your property
The water-fed pole reaches up to 3 storeys safely, so there's no need for ladders leaning against your home.
Flexible payments
Card, GoCardless, PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Cheque. Invoices by text, email, or hand-written — whatever suits you.
Regular schedule
4 or 8 weekly visits keep your windows consistently clean. We fit around you, not the other way round.
Local knowledge
We know the A52 corridor inside out — the roads, the villages, the customers. Nine years of local roots.

Why it matters
Same Person Every Clean — Not a Different Face Each Time
Some window cleaning companies operate with multiple vans and a rotating team. That means a different person at your property every visit — someone you've never met, who doesn't know your gate code, your dog, or which windows need extra attention.
With Moon Shine, it's always Ben. He does every single clean himself. He knows your property, he knows your preferences, and he's been doing this since 2017. That's why so many customers have stayed on the round for years.
Same face, every time
Ben does every clean himself — no rotating team, no strangers at your property.
He knows your property
After a few visits he knows your gate, your access, and which windows need extra care.
Established since 2017
Nine years on the same rounds. Customers who joined in 2017 are still on the books today.
